Entry 19: Effects of Preventive Measures on Pupils

I think they are worth it because H1N1 is a deadly virus that can easily spread.The activity that has affected me is the cancellation of the CCA because i don't need to go to my CCA for a week and i was quite happy.I think they affect my learning by cancelling my activities so i can't learn anything. I think the school is not less interesting because they made us go home early have ,mother tongue lessonwith only 1 teacher and not going to the hall i find that interesting as the hall is so stuffy. No my relationship with my friends are not affected because i can always call them after school.I use my extra time to play more games.No my activities outside school are not affected.

Self-Discipline

Yi xuan was a very naughty boy, one day he was in class and he was very bored and he said "Hey do you want to see something cool ? I learnt it from youtube"
He went in front of the whiteboard and started writing jokes that includes vulgarities and everyone laughed like mad people even the prefects were laughing.Beside the class the teacher was irritated but he tolerated it. Just when Yi xuan was about to erase everything, the class was still laughing and the teacher next door lost his temper and walked into the classroom and said "Would you all please keep quiet? i am trying to teach while you people are laughing!" Then Yi xuan froze to the ground as he saw what the teacher was doing.
The teacher turned and look at the whiteboard and saw the jokes and he was enraged.
The teacher said "who did this! own up now!" But Yi xuan sit there as if nothing happened.Then the teacher said"The person who did this dosen't have integrity and if you don't have that you will get suspended from school!" Then Yi xuan said " It was me." Then the teacher brought him to the general office.
The principal shout at him and said "Why, Why do you have to do this?You will be suspen-"
Before he could finish the sentance, Yi xuan said"I am terribly sorry really, please will you forgive me?" The principal said "then why do you have to do this?" Yi xuan explained how he was bored and wanted to do something.The principal said he forgave Yi xuan.
Yi xuan learnt the meaning of self-dicipline and also became a prefect.

Entry 18: Reflective Time for Science (Light Energy)

I see people reading below the street lamp beside my house, i see vehicles using their headlights, below my house there is a carpark and it has lights to help drivers see, the lift lobby also has lights and i think it is also to help other people see, inside the lift there is also lights to help people see inside it.
I use light to do my homework, my mother uses it to read letters, my brother uses it to play games.
I think life would be very dark if there is no light, it will be hard to find your way and you won't be able to read.

Entry 17: Classroom Cleanliness

I think the classroom is not clean because i don't see people sweeping the floor so often unlike last year. I think keeping the class room clean is important because it can keep some virus away. I keep the classroom clean by picking up litter on the floor and also sometimes i don't notice them so Mrs Tan has to tell me. I participated in picking up litter from the floor. I have learnt that keeping the classroom clean is important. I think i have learnt to be Self-discipline.

Entry 16: Influenza A H1N1

H1N1 is a combination of bird flu, human flu and pig flu. The virus spreads easily through air.
Some of the contries are trying to make an antidote for H1N1 they are also asking people to wash thier hands thoroughy.Taking temperature is important because if you have fever you have to be checked by a doctor. Singapore is doing its part by washing thier hands, avoid big crowds and cover your mouth when you sneeze. I will wash my hands when it is dirty or before i eat i will also cover my mouth when i sneeze.

Entry 15: SA1 Review

I think the sa 1 papers has tested me fairy.It has been fair because i think it is set by strict teachers and i think sa 1 papers should alwas be like that.I don't think i have done well because some of my subjects are below target.i think the High achievers prograsm is good because it helps me with my english and science.I have tution at home and i think it is good because it improved my results by alot.I think i should study more about the subject i am weak at.I think to school should host more programs for different subjects.
